Marketing Apprentice

Job Description

The key duty of the role will be to assist the marketing manager to manage all paid digital campaigns across multiple channels for all of our brands. Frequent communication with internal departments will be vital, and all leads generated by paid campaigns should be communicated to the relevant people as soon as possible. The PPC & Email Apprentice will also be required to help manage our email marketing activity. Full training will be provided.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Creating paid advertising campaigns on platforms including but not limited to: Google Ads, Facebook, Bing
  • Monitoring ad performance, testing ad variants and optimising campaigns to maximise results
  • Create and manage Facebook Remarketing campaigns
  • Sending new lead details through to relevant teams as soon as possible once a lead comes in
  • Working closely with the marketing manager and internal teams to decide which ads are required
  • Assist in the delivery of our email marketing strategy, including creating and sending emails, and maintaining our lists
  • Accurately report on campaign performance and identify the most successful campaigns
  • Communicating with the team when new graphics/ad creatives are required
  • Assist team in controlling the quality of website job ads
  • Any other ad hoc duties when required by management

Required Skills

  • Analytical thinking, mathematical skills & attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of pay per click advertising
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Excel
  • Good writing skills

  • Strong communication skills
