Marketing Consultant Apprentice

Job Description

The Role:

This role requires an enthusiastic individual to assist Munich Re (UKLB) us in delivering our marketing strategy. You will be an active member of the team and responsible for supporting the delivery of annual marketing plans. You will play an active role in promoting the strengths of Munich Re to existing and prospective clients, employees and potential recruits across all agreed forms of communications.

Your key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Assisting in the development of marketing plans across the key business lines
  • Supporting the delivery of marketing activity in line with agreed marketing plans and objectives
  • Ensuring all external communications are to a high standard and adhere to the Munich Re brand
  • Gaining approval for marketing concepts that ensure Munich Re is always at the forefront of the industry
  • Creating and coordinating exciting and unique client events, tailoring each event to specific clients
  • Ensuring all marketing activities adhere with our compliance requirements
  • Monitor competitors and report on findings to executive team
  • Support the delivery of effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives

General Duties and Tasks:

  • Ensure regular meetings (at least monthly) are in place to discuss and agree needs and requirements with key stakeholders
  • Build, review and send out the monthly newsletter, ensuring this is to a high quality and relevant for distribution group
  • Send out regular internal communications to ensure the branch on key topics such as strategy updates, good news updates, competitor/market awareness
  • Maintain and update key content on all online media, primarily UKLB website and intranet services
  • Research and book interesting and unique events for clients, ensuring all aspects from client invites to event company invoice payments are fully managed
  • Review and brand check all external communications
  • Regular monitoring of competitors, this will then be presented to our executive board on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure the upkeep of the marketing and internal communications dashboards
  • Support skills development in the branch for use of social media, ensuring that all communications are in line with our social media policy
  • Track and analyse marketing campaigns to measure effectiveness
  • Give input and feedback in meetings with key stakeholders
